Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll meet with your guide. You'll have some free time to explore the vibrant Thamel market and make any necessary preparations for the upcoming trek. After hotel check-in, enjoy a delicious dinner and rest at the comfortable 3-star hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding
Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, followed by a departure from the domestic airport. A scenic domestic flight will take you to Lukla (2850m) in approximately 40-50 minutes. From Lukla, embark on a 4-hour trek to Phakding (2655m) along gentle and downhill paths. En route, marvel at the Numbur, Kyashar, and other splendid peaks. Overnight stay at a local lodge.
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
After a nourishing breakfast at the lodge, begin your trekking journey. Trek for about 5-6 hours from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m). The trail encompasses both gentle and uphill stretches. Catch your first glimpse of Mt. Everest and witness the mountains emerging more vividly as you approach. Pass through historic settlements, gaining insights into traditional lifestyles. Enjoy relaxation at a lodge after exploring Namche Bazaar.
Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Kickstart the day with a light breakfast, then set forth through enchanting rhododendron and pine forests, ultimately reaching Sanasa. This marks the crucial junction to either Gokyo Valley or Everest base camp. Ascending a steep path leads you to your final destination, Tengboche. Immerse yourself in the timeless aura of Tengboche Monastery, the oldest in the Khumbu region. Spend the night at a lodge in Tengboche, where stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Amadablam await.
Day 05: Tengboche Sunrise, Trek back to Namche Bazaar
Witness an awe-inspiring sunrise before enjoying breakfast. Your trek today involves a 5-hour downhill journey back to Namche Bazaar, offering a more manageable trail.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Following breakfast in Namche, trek your way back to Lukla, passing through charming mountain villages along the route. Spend the night in Lukla.
Day 07: Lukla to Kathmandu
After a morning meal in Lukla, board a flight back to Kathmandu. In the city, explore key attractions such as Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Return to the hotel and immerse yourself in a cultural dance festival, followed by a traditional Nepali dinner.
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast, seize some free time at the Thamel market until lunch. Post-lunch, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure. Drop-off service is available for your convenience.
