Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Later in the day, there will be a group briefing about your upcoming trek, followed by a delightful welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant. You can take this time to get to know your fellow trekkers and prepare for your adventure.
Day 2: Drive to Syabrubesi and Trek to Bamboo Hotel
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, situated at an altitude of 1,460 meters. The journey itself is an adventure, offering glimpses of lush hills, terraced fields, and picturesque landscapes. Upon reaching Syabrubesi, you'll begin your trek towards Bamboo Hotel. This tranquil walk through the Langtang Valley takes approximately 3 hours, and you'll be surrounded by dense forests and the soothing sound of the Langtang Khola River.
Day 3: Trek to Ghoda Tabela via Lama Hotel
Today's trek takes you further into the Langtang Valley as you make your way to Ghoda Tabela. You'll pass through Lama Hotel, an enchanting spot in the heart of the forest. The trail is dotted with rhododendron and oak trees, offering a glimpse of Langtang's unique flora and fauna. Ghoda Tabela, at an altitude of 2,900 meters, is your destination for the day.
Day 4: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa via Langtang Valley
The trail leads you through the stunning Langtang Valley, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. As you gradually ascend, the views become even more spectacular. Kyanjing Gompa, at an elevation of 3,830 meters, is a significant milestone. Here, you'll witness the spiritual capital of devoted Buddhist monks and enjoy the awe-inspiring landscapes.
Day 5: Exploration Day at Tsergo-Ri
Today is dedicated to exploring Tsergo-Ri, a vantage point offering some of the most breathtaking views in the region. The 8-hour round trip to Tsergo-Ri rewards you with panoramic vistas of the surrounding peaks, including Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, and the Langtang Range. After this exhilarating adventure, return to Kyanjing Gompa for a well-deserved rest.
Day 6: Trek to Lama Hotel
Descending through the Langtang Valley, you'll retrace your steps towards Lama Hotel. The serene forests and gentle trail create a soothing atmosphere as you trek for approximately 6 to 7 hours. Lama Hotel, situated at 2,450 meters, is a tranquil place to spend the night.
Day 7: Trek to Syabrubesi and Drive to Kathmandu
Your trek takes you back to Syabrubesi today, a 3-hour walk through picturesque landscapes. From here, you'll drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic views during the journey. After reaching Kathmandu, you can relax at your hotel or take a stroll in the city to reflect on your memorable Langtang Valley trek.
Day 8: Kathmandu City Tour and Departure
Begin your day with a visit to some of Kathmandu's most iconic landmarks, including Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, and Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple). These UNESCO World Heritage Sites offer insights into Nepal's rich culture and spirituality. After the tour, enjoy a delicious lunch and some leisure time. Later, you'll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure, concluding your fantastic Langtang Valley trekking adventure.
