Day 1: Kathmandu to Maccha Khola (Drive)
Take an early morning bus from Kathmandu to Maccha Khola. The 7-hour ride offers scenic landscapes. Overnight at a tea house in Maccha Khola.
Day 2: Maccha Khola to Jagat
Trek along the Budi Gandaki River, passing through forests and Gurung villages. Reach Jagat and verify your trekking permits.
Day 3: Jagat to Pewa
Hike to Salleri and Sirdibas, adorned with gompas and prayer flags. Cross the Bhudi Gandaki river and reach Pewa, a small destination with two teahouses.
Day 4: Pewa to Namrung
Trek through bamboo forests, cross a suspension bridge and reach Namrung, a village with teashops and rest houses.
Day 5: Namrung to Lho
Pass through Banjam, explore the Nubri people's lifestyle, and reach Lho, offering stunning views of Manaslu.
Day 6: Lho to Sama Gaun
Enjoy views of Mt. Manaslu while hiking to Sama Gaun, the principal village of the Nubri people.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day (Day Trip to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa)
Rest in Sama Gaun or choose a hike to Pungyen Gompa or Manaslu Base Camp for spectacular views.
Day 8: Sama Gaun to Samdo
Trek through yak pastures and valleys to reach Samdo, a picturesque village dedicated to yak herding.
Day 9: Acclimatization Day (Day Trip to Tibet Border)
Rest in Samdo and take a day trip to the Tibetan border, offering views of Tibet and Nepal.
Day 10: Samdo to Dharmasala
Trek to Dharmasala, paying attention to your body's signs due to the high altitude.
Day 11: Dharmasala to Bimthang via Larkya Pass
Cross the challenging Larkya La Pass (5,160m / 16,929 ft), offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan giants. Descend to Bimthang.
Day 12: Bimthang to Dharapani
Trek through lush forests and reach Dharapani.
Day 13: Dharapani to Kathmandu
Take a jeep to Beshi Sahar and return to Kathmandu after an adventurous journey through the Manaslu region.
