Our 20-day Annapurna Circuit Trek program commences with a brief tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage sites. The journey kicks off with a delightful exploration through friendly Nepali villages, lush rice plantations, and dense forests, gradually ascending into the foothills of the Annapurna Conservation Area. Throughout our itinerary, you'll traverse the captivating lowlands of Annapurna, a global natural wonder, and immerse yourself in indigenous communities nestled within both lowland and high mountain regions.

Imagine the thrill of crossing Thorong La Pass (5,416m), and journeying from Manang to Muktinath. This route unveils Annapurna I, the world's tenth highest peak at 8,167m, to the east, and the towering Dhaulagiri peak at 8,091m to the west. The trail leads through the renowned Marpha village, continues to the depths of the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the world's deepest gorge, and culminates at the high Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness sunrise among the peaks. As the trek concludes, you'll relish the panoramic views in the foothills below the mountains, returning through scenic landscapes and soothing hot springs en route to Pokhara. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide. Take some leisure time to explore the vibrant Thamel Market and gather any last-minute essentials for the upcoming adventure. Following dinner, unwind and rest at the comfortable 3-star hotel.
Day 2: Journey to Syange
After indulging in a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Besisahar, the trailhead of the Annapurna Round trek. From there, a captivating journey continues as you pass through Bhulbhule's checkpoint and proceed to Syange. Settle in for the night at a cozy lodge.
Day 3: Trek to Tranquil Tal
The day commences with a satisfying breakfast at the lodge. Your trekking adventure takes off, guiding you through a landscape of undulating terrain. As you traverse uphill and downhill paths, marvel at the enchanting waterfalls along the hiking route. Your destination for the day is Tal, a serene haven where you'll take respite in a comfortable lodge.
Day 4: Ascend to Chame
Greet the morning with a nourishing breakfast before embarking on a captivating journey. The day's 6-hour trek leads you through small villages, providing glimpses of distant snowy peaks. The awe-inspiring Annapurna Range creates a picturesque backdrop as you arrive at Chame (2715m), where a cozy lodge awaits.
Day 5: Venture to Pisang's Heights
Following breakfast, set forth on a 5-6 hour trek that takes you uphill to the captivating village of Pisang (3185m). Your trail meanders through a secluded mountain path, offering breathtaking views of the Annapurna Valley and the magnificent snowy peaks that adorn the horizon. The gentle inclines, uphill stretches, and flat paths grant you ample time to appreciate the remarkable surroundings. Pisang Peak, Annapurna Peaks 2, 3, 4, and more create a stunning panorama.
Day 6: Journey to Enchanting Manang
Today's trek from Pisang to Manang (3540m) spans approximately 5-6 hours. As you traverse this picturesque path, the imposing Gangapurna, Annapurna, and neighboring peaks gradually emerge into view, enchanting you with their majestic presence. The trail's gentle uphill and flat sections present a balanced challenge, making your journey to Manang truly enjoyable. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and immerse yourself in the village's charm.
Day 7: Acclimatization in Manang
Today, embrace the opportunity for acclimatization in the captivating village of Manang. Immerse yourself in the local culture, explore ancient shrines, and witness the traditions upheld by the village's residents. Embark on a light hike to the Chongor Viewpoint, soaking in breathtaking vistas of Annapurna 3, Annapurna 4, Tilicho Peak, Gangapurna, and more. This day of acclimatization will further prepare you for the higher altitudes ahead.
Day 8: Trek to Yak Kharka
After breakfast at the lodge, embark on a trek to Yak Kharka (4018m). The 6-hour journey offers close-up views of Annapurna peaks, including the spectacular Annapurna Peak itself. The trail takes you through a stunning and varied landscape, offering you the chance to maintain your body temperature and stay hydrated at elevations above 4,000 meters. Take in the beauty of your surroundings while enjoying a leisurely and comfortable hike.
Day 9: Ascend to High Camp
As you depart from the lodge after breakfast, the trail to Thorongphedi unfolds. The journey is characterized by valleys, views of Annapurna 2 and 3, and a gradual ascent. Ascend the steep slope for about an hour to reach the High Camp, situated at an elevation of 4925m. The day's trek promises stunning vistas and rewarding challenges.
Day 10: Conquer Thorong La Pass and Descend to Muktinath
Following an early breakfast, the day's adventure begins. Embark on a slow and steady trek as you cross the renowned Thorong La Pass (5416m), mindful of the high altitude and potential for strong winds. Traverse the pass, surrounded by the grandeur of the Tibetan Himalayas, before descending to Muktinath (3760m). The journey encompasses approximately 8-9 hours of trekking and offers captivating views and a serene downhill path.
Day 11: Explore Muktinath and Trek to Jomsom
After breakfast, set out to explore the unique Muktinath Temple complex, a revered site for both Buddhist and Hindu devotees. The fusion of these two traditions creates a captivating atmosphere. Following your exploration, commence a 7-hour trek to Jomsom (2720m). Jomsom, nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, invites you to unwind and take in the surroundings.
Day 12: Trek to Marpha
The day's trek to Marpha (2670m) is a comfortable journey that unfolds over 3 hours. Revel in the serenity of the trail while admiring the panoramic views of Tukuche Peak and Nilgiri Mountain. Day 14: Trek to Tatopani and Dip in Natural Hot Springs
On this day, you'll venture forth on a 5-6 hour trek that guides you through captivating landscapes, complete with waterfalls and charming villages. Your destination is Tatopani, where a natural hot spring near the Kali Gandaki River offers the perfect opportunity to relax and rejuvenate. Immerse yourself in the warm waters and unwind amid the tranquility of the natural surroundings.
Day 15: Trek to Scenic Shikha
Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast before embarking on a trek to Shikha (1920m). The day's 5-6 hour journey leads you along mountain trails and flatlands, offering stunning vistas of Annapurna Peak 1, Nilgiri, and more. As you trek, appreciate the ever-changing landscapes that create a visual feast for the senses.
Day 16: Ascend to Ghorepani
After breakfast, set out on a 4-5 hour uphill trek that takes you to Ghorepani (2860m). The captivating views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, and numerous snowy peaks accompany you on this journey. Upon reaching Ghorepani, relax and unwind at the lodge, basking in the panoramic beauty that surrounds you from a different angle.
Day 17: Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Tikhedunga
An early wake-up call heralds your ascent to Poon Hill Observatory (3210m). The hike, lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, rewards you with the unparalleled spectacle of a Himalayan sunrise. Witness the awe-inspiring grandeur of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchare, and more as the sun casts its golden glow upon these towering peaks. Following breakfast, set forth on a 5-6 hour trek, descending along valley paths and forest trails. Marvel at the sights of Annapurna South Peak and Machhapuchure, which grace your journey. The day's destination is Tikhedunga, where a comfortable lodge awaits.
Day 18: Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara
Commence the day with breakfast before embarking on a 4-hour trek to Nayapul. As you trek, relish the gentle downhill paths that lead you through vast rice fields and charming villages. From Nayapul, a car transfer takes you to the lakeside city of Pokhara. Upon arriving, check in to the hotel and spend a leisurely afternoon boating on the serene Phewa Lake. Enjoy a satisfying dinner and rest in the comfort of a 3-star hotel.
Day 19: Explore Pokhara and Return to Kathmandu
Embark on a fulfilling day of sightseeing in Pokhara, exploring its notable attractions such as Devi's Fall, the Tibetan refugee camp, and the International Mountain Museum. Following your explorations, embark on a scenic 6-hour drive that brings you back to Kathmandu. Arriving at the hotel, settle in and take the evening to relax and unwind.
Day 20: Kathmandu City Tour and Shopping
Begin the day with a sumptuous breakfast before embarking on a city tour of Kathmandu. Discover the revered sites of Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath (also known as the Monkey Temple), Bouddha, Kumari Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Take time to indulge in shopping and exploration, embracing the vibrant atmosphere of the city. The day culminates with a relaxing evening in the comfort of your 3-star hotel.
Day 21: Departure
Commence the day with breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy free time for last-minute shopping at Thamel Market. After a satisfying lunch, bid farewell to this remarkable journey. A comfortable transfer will take you to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Annapurna trekking experience.
